The Best Thing...

I'm a big fan of making crafts from recycled objects. Especially ones that I have just laying around my house! Why throw it away when you can create with it!

Here's one of my favorite things to alter:

Yep, empty toilet paper rolls! I've seen several projects make out of toilet paper rolls, so at the beginning of Summer, I tried my own project with these and I was hooked!

I'm a mini album maker for the most part, so of coarse I had to make a mini with my recycled toilet paper rolls! When making these albums, I think the key part is to paint them to match your paper that you are using. I showed the first album that I made with them to my mom and she said "Where's the toilet paper rolls?" She didn't recognize them since I had painted them!

Here's a mini album that I made using the beautiful Uncommon line:

And yes, this IS indeed made from cardboard toilet paper rolls! Since these albums are kind of small, they are good to hold wallet photos or little quotes. I also love that they have open ends to stick tags for hidden journaling or extra photos.

I just love the elegance of this paper line! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you can take a little inspiration from my project and create a mini toilet paper roll album of your own!
