Using Authentique as the perfect accent & finishing touch

It is strange how now that I am using Authentique Paper's paper and supplies all the time, I seriously question how I have gotten by without them up until now.
It seems for anything I need to do, I always wind up using something from Authentique Paper.
Take for example this Halloween Card I made.
I made this card for {ippity} stamps and I needed some cute phrases to finish it off.
Where do I turn?

Yep, you've got it, GLOWING!  The perfect accents for this card.
The Icons and Noteables are must haves.  I use them all the time!
"too cute to spook", perfect for these innocent mushrooms!

Next you will see in this card how the SPLENDID papers with a little bit of some ruffled FREE BIRD, was the perfect mix for this card. Also the pink card base, is from the UNCOMMON line.

What I love most about Authentique Paper is the endless combinations with all the collections.

So many of the lines can be mixed together, so don't be afraid to add some Uncommon to your Splendid with a dash of Free Bird on top.

For all you paper aficionados, have you tried just piercing your paper for added detail?

The secret to this really working is to put some dimensional foam between your pierced paper and the background layer.

You can see that even though I have 3 different Authentique Paper lines on this card, they all work perfectly together.

Don't be afraid to mix and match.  What combinations can you dream up?  Be sure to share them with us on our FACEBOOK page.
