Red White and Blue Authentique style
After you check out the projects here on the Authentique Paper blog, be sure to head on over to the Core'dinations blog to find out what the talented members of the Core'dinations Design Team have in store for you today!
**********
For my project today I created a layout using the new Glory Collection ,
which happens to go perfectly with the Core'dinations Kraft Core collection by Tim Holtz. The red No. 3 is a perfect match with the colors in Glory.
When I sanded my stars, the kraft color underneath was a perfect match to the off white of the patterned papers. To make the stars, I embossed them using a chipboard star and a stylus. I then lightly sanded the embossed image and TADA!...fabulousness!
Here's a look at my layout:
and a few closer looks
Speaking of "Glory"... Have you seen that it is one of the collections in the running for "Favorite Patriotic Collection 2012" over on the Paper Crafter's Corner? Make sure you stop by and cast your vote!
