DIY "Glory" Gift Bag

A good Monday morning to you all! I hope you had a good crafty weekend!

Today, I have a quick & easy tutorial showing you how to make this lovely gift bag!

I was trying to decide what I wanted to make, and I realized that it's almost the fourth of July! Liberty. We don't know that here in the Netherlands, but it looks to me like a fun time to create a little gift bag for you to bring with you for your friends & family with a little gift inside!

Of course, I used the Glory Paper collection!

                                     First cut a piece paper 7.5" x 11.5"
Make score lines for the small sections size 1" by 6" Make on the longest section size 4" So score at -5.5"- 9.5"- 11"

Fold along the one inch line to the inside and then fold the vertical lines and glue the smallest strip.

Fold the bottom of your bag like it is on the photo.

Add some glue to it and the bag is almost ready.

We are missing the handles so cut two strips from 9" x 1" and fold them, now you have two strips of 9"x 0.5" Add some glue and put them on the bag.

I also made a little dimensional star. To make this, cut a star out of the patterned paper and score the lines. After that fold them, then add some foam tape to it.

And your bag is ready!

You can also add some pieces paper to the front with some detail stickers to make a little tag. The tag itself is a sticker, I took the sticker and put it on paper, then I cut around the sticker and added an eyelet.

I hope I was able to give you a little inspiration! From the Netherlands I wish you all a great 4 July with lots of fun with family and friends!

  6. Héél mooi Loes! Het papier is sowieso prachtig, maar wat een leuk item heb je er mee gemaakt. Ik had verwacht dat je een bestaand tasje had beplakt, maar zelfs de tas heb je zelf in elkaar gezet! Heel creatief!
