I had so much fun creating this wreath. The idea started with the Glory collection. With its texture and vintage shades of red and blue, the papers and stickers were exactly what I was looking for to create a fun, whimsical patriotic wreath that depicted Americana and the Declaration of Independence. To compliment the look and feel of the Americana theme, I used silver tulle to make a bow and wrap around the wooden wreath. I brought in some red wire, wrapping it around the base of the wreath and creating stars. Then used silver wire to string the Glory stickers to loop around the wreath and pinwheels. I wrapped washi tape on both sides of the silver wire, then pleated and glued them behind the bow to create a fun look of fireworks.

I love to create patriotic projects and happened across the Authentique Glory pattern paper while working in Buffalo at the CKC in May, and just had to purchase it. Since then I've purchased additional 12" x 12" papers and another package of 6" x 6"! I love all the coordinating papers in this pack, but my favorite pieces to create with are the "allegiance" and "liberty papers". When creating my project using SVG Cuts Stars & Stripes Kit, I used these two patterns because I loved the way to complemented each other to create the perfect centerpieces for the 4th of July Celebration.
I created a floral wreath from the Glory Collection. Since my birthday is Flag Day (June 14th), it is only natural to mention that red, white and blue is one of my favorite color combination! This collection is not only is perfect for projects celebrating our Country’s birthday but for all occasion. This project came together in no time. It is ready for display during the 4th of July gathering to any time of year!

I design for a template company (Creations by AR) and our June new release blot hop theme was Stars and Stripes. I knew before I actually saw the template that I would use Glory! I was attracted to the vintage feel of the papers, the faded and worn colors, and the designs themselves- especially the collage and stripes! Needless to say,, my wheels were spinning in all kinds of directions with Glory in mind! The tricky part was creeating something to display inside of the box. It started with the pinwheels and ended with the 'sparklers.' It is always satisfying to create a project when the papers do all of the inspiring!
