Earth Friendly Friday.. paper container!

Hi everyone, Angie Blom here with another
 Earth Friendly Authentique Friday.
I wanted to make something using these amazing Halloween papers
"Enchanted" , I am a big fan of the season
and love to make some different things to hold
candy to give  the teacher for her desk.

here are the steps to make this Halloween container.

step one: you will need a piece of the Enchanted 12x12 paper
I used "spooked" paper
some mod podge and a container from your recycling bin..
I am using a large cottage cheese container.

step 2: you are going to need to  spray your paper very lightly on one side .. enough to
soften it lightly.

step 3:  on the side you did not spray with water you
will need to add alot of mod podge,
cover the whole sheet.

step 4:  turning the container over and placing the paper
with the mod podge on the outside of the container..
form your paper around the container..
step5: with 2 strips of paper mod podge one side and wrap it around the folds..
now your paper might tear in sections.. that is okay.. you can press them together
with some mod podge.
step 6: let dry completely and then add another generous
coat of mod podge all over the outside.

Once dry.. you can decorate using the Enchanted stickers , you have a great variety
of styles and shapes of stickers that are just perfect .
Here is the candy holder.. It will sit lovely on the teacher's desk this year.

Now if you are going to someones house for a Halloween Party or dinner.. this would also look lovely with a plant inside.. it would make a great hostess gift!!

Hope you enjoyed this Earth Friendly Authentique project , would love to see you try it..
and if you do please link it up to the Authentique Facebook page.. we always love seeing your
creations.
Have a wonderful Friday
Hugs,
Angie
