A "Thankful" Table Setting

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, a lot of us are usually in a frenzy around this time of year trying to prepare to make everything just perfect for that one big meal with friends and family. 

It doesn't have to be that complicated! I'm here today to show you how to get a little jump start on your table setting using the12x8 elements stickers from our "Thankful" collection! 

First I gathered up my 12x8 stickers, some inks to match, and a "Thankful" 6x6 bundle. 

Since we do a lot of "Earth Friendly" projects here on the blog, I wanted to stick with that. I found a couple of empty toilet paper rolls and some cardboard off of a box. I sprayed the toilet paper rolls with some mist to make them shimmer a little. 

With the piece of cardboard from the box, I wanted to make an easel type photo stand. Originally, I was going to make this on a wood block, but I didn't have a piece of wood in the size that I needed and this seemed to work out better. 

I took the toilet paper roll and put my napkin through it. I used a piece of burlap, no, I'm not actually going to make people wipe their faces with the burlap, but it looked nice for the place setting. 

I decorated the toilet paper roll with some "Thankful" paper and stickers and then added some coordinating ribbons. 

This was just the beginning! 

I ended up making a whole table full of "Thankful" projects, and you can too! All you need is a 6x6 pad and some 12x8 stickers. The sticker sheets have multiples of the same stickers so that you can easily make duplicate name cards and place settings for each person at your table. 

I also took a 12x12 sheet of paper and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo to make a decorative place mat. 

You can also use the letters on the sticker sheet to personalize each name card on your table. 

I made a little decor piece with paper flowers, bamboo skewers, and an empty toilet paper roll for the base. 

After it's all over, you will still have some beautiful keepsakes to remember your Thanksgiving dinner for years to come! Not to mention, you could even re-use some of the items for the next year!
