Before we let you go to move on to the next blog... we have an amazing project to share from design team member Angie Blom

I wanted to show how you can take a piece of 2x4 wood, shape it into a house... and then change it into home decor for the season.

  • The black house is the 2x4 piece of wood cut to 1 inch thickness and then cut into a shape of a house.
  • I painted it, then using the Peaceful collection, I pieced the paper to fit the wood piece. Applied with mod podge.
  • Then addi a stencil with some paint and textured paste for that doily effect background. let dry.
  • Make a flower using 6 piece of punched scalloped circles. Cut about 1/2 in towards the middle. Do this for every 3 scallops. Ink it up then pearce a brad in the middle of all 6 and lift up the flower petals.
  • With a 2.5 inch circle, make a spiral flower. Add to the middle of the original flower, add some mod podge to the flower and sprinkle with chunky glitter.
  • Using some christmas wreath decorations, add your red berries, tree branches, and small pinecones.
  •  Last, add some punched leaves, flowers, and flower pearls. Then add the letters on a banner from the Authentique Peaceful 12x8 elements sticker sheet.

Now hop right along, your next stop is The Twinery
