Hi Everyone, Angie Blom here with my projects using the Burlap pieces from
Canvas Corp with Authentique Papers Thankful collection.
I know we here in Canada have had our Thanksgiving already.. but it
is also never too late to start different projects for next year.
I made these treat hangers for the kids, Using a free svg file from svg cuts.
It was really easy to put together and these papers look amazing with this
design. Using the Canvas Corp burlap I cut out some banners and added
tabs to the detailed front of these beautiful Cone ornaments. This would also
be great to put on your plate settings with some treats for the kids and adults.
Then I didn't stop there.. I was on a roll and need to make something more..So I made a Thankful bag.. my thought was this would be a great idea to have pieces of paper for everyone to write what they were thankful for and the date.. then pass the bag around the table .. then after dinner you could read the notes inside.. I just love this idea and will be using it for next year...
Using the large piece of Burlap sheet..
I cut the top of the sheet because it came as two sewn ed together.
so at least most of my bag was already sewn together..
then sewing the top to thread my lace through..
I added some punched papers and sewed and glued the frill to the top of the bag..
Using different shapes of diecutted papers I glued the papers on using Helmar 450 quick dry glue.
I added some Thankful stickers also adhered with glue.. the small happiness quote I glued on
the small canvas for a popped up effect. I just love how this all turned out..
I am just in love with how you can take burlap and paper and make some extraordinary
useful home projects for the Thanksgiving season. Hope you liked these too.
