Hello Authentique fans, Heather here with a cute mini album. I often create mini albums for gifts. This one will be heading to it's new home shortly. I've been wanting to use my beautiful Lovely papers for quite awhile, and when I saw Dress Form Embellishments from Clear Scraps, I knew that this would be a great chance to use some wonderfully girly papers.

Rather than use the Lovely papers for Valentine's related items, I focused on their soft colors and patterns. I will later put pictures of my two girls inside before I send it off. I started with the Clear Scraps Showy Mixables Album. I used Tim Holtz's Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Red Pepper, both on the album pages, and on the dress form. I had never used alcohol inks before, so just found a couple of tutorials on YouTube, and used a lot of trial and error. My paper choices for the cover include the Valentine paper (12x12) and Crush (6x6). I also used a mix of elements from the Details sticker sheet and the Paper Crafting Assortment. The "dress" is a bit of May Arts Net ribbon, and a Petaloo Darjeeling flower, with a Maya Road Heart Trinket Pin.
The pages alternate between chipboard and acrylic sheets. For the chipboard pages, I used 12x12 (Fancy) sheets to cover the chipboard, and then alternated various photo mats from the 6x6 sheets in both the fabulous solids, and smaller patterns. To finish the pages, I inked the edges of most everything with a Imagine Crafts Memento ink pad in Love Letter. Then I added a doily and another Details sticker.
This was a super fun acrylic sheet to make. I tried for a polka dot effect. Then layered Keynote paper with an element from the Paper Crafting Assortment (PCA), May Arts ribbon, and some of the stickers that were included in the PCA.
This chipboard sheet was covered in Adore paper, a couple of the 6x6 pages and some of the Details stickers and PCA elements. Some May Arts Seam Binding will enhance the photos used later.
The last page is covered in Crush. I just love the cute polka dots on this page! Two squares of Amour 6x6, a little bit of one of the backs of the 12x12 sheets in tan that I used a border punch on, and quite a few of the elements from the PCA adorn this page.
To finish the Clear Scraps Showy Mixables Album, I used a random assortment of May Arts ribbons in reds and pinks to create some interest on the jump rings.

As you can see,  I used a predominately Valentine's line in a non-Valentine's way. I am excited for the recipient of this mini album to display it year round.
