"Hope" Trifold Keepsake

Angie Blom here with a fun tutorial on how to make the base of my Trifold Authentique "HOPE" collection  keepsake piece.

First you will need to go grab one sheet of 12x12 cardstock.
With your scoring tool you will need to score it at the 6 inch mark , scoring down the whole length of the paper.

Then you will need to flip the paper once. so the score line you have just scored is now
towards the width of the paper. that will be your fold line.
Now we are going to score it every 3 inches. so at 3 inches, 6 inches and 9 inches.
Do the same and score it down the entire length of the paper.

With your cutting tool you are going to cut 3 inches off the width of the paper.. making
sure the 3 different score lines remain at the top for folding.
Fold the width  then fold the length pieces. Your project should
now look like the image below.

With any one inch punch, you are going to punch 1/2 of the circle shape in the middle
of the 3inches to form half circle cutouts for your tags.. etc.

This is optional , you can now take your corner rounder and round all the corners
this also includes the top inside corners.

With your score tape you will tape the outer edges of your  paper. This is the side where
you have done the half circle punches.

Then just remove the top of the tape and fold over and secure the tape by pressing each place
where you adhered the tape.
Now you are left with a fun project to decorate and embellish with your
Authentique papers and sticker elements.

Here is my finished  project.
I used some of the pretty "custom II" paper and paper pieced those
Easter eggs, then took some of the "Promise" border paper and
used it to make some grass for the paper pieced bunnies that
I cut from the "Await II" paper.  adding some words and
letter stickers .

The insides of the pockets I added some of the large "statement stickers".
I also added some tags using the templates from Kiwi Lane . It is a fun and easy way to get the exact diminutions for any tags you might want to make.

Here is a close up of the outside of the pockets. Those pretty flowers are from Petaloo and the
heart pins are from Maya Road.

I hope you give this a try for your next Authentique Paper project.. and if you do we would love to
see it , just go to our Facebook page and post it there.  Thanks for coming by.
