Create your own Mini Album with Strong!

Hello, Loes here with a little tutorial to show you how the make a mini album with a ribbon binding! I used the some awesome ribbons from May arts.

First, you will need to cut 5 pieces of thick chipboard. Mine are 8 1/4 inch x 5 3/4 inch, but you can really do this with any size. After that, you can ink the edges with distress stain or other ink you that you might have.

Cut ten different papers from 12 x 12 sheets of paper in the same size as your chipboard and glue them on both sides of the chipboard. Ink all of the edges of the paper. I used Memento peanut brittle.

Cut four pieces of ribbon 8 1/4 inch and glue the pages of your mini together.

The base of your mini is finished and now it's time to embellish!

For the front, I used the die cut frames from the "Strong" collection, and a little piece of linen fabric.

I love all of the details and little die cuts in this collection, this way you can make your own embellishments by simply gluing them down or by using foamtape. You could even use your heat gun with versamark and clear embossing powder for a more polished look.

To close the album I cut two pieces ribbon, about 24 inches, and just tie them together.

I decided to also make a layout with this great paper collection!
I love this Photo of my sons and husband. It's really one of my favorites.

Products Used:

Authentique Strong collection,12x12 papers, 6x6 paper pad,stamp blocks,mini notes,titles&phrases, frames&corners, components stickers, detail stickers.
