Everyday Scrapbooking with Authentique Paper

When we create our product collections, we try to keep all aspects of paper crafting in mind. Whether you are a card maker, altered artist, mixed media artist, or an every day scrapbooker, Authentique products will work for what you are creating.

We know that the "Project Life" approach to scrapbooking is incredibly popular right now. For those of you who might not know what this is, it's simply a way to document your every day life 365 days a year. It's a quick, clean, & simple approach to scrapbooking. You can interpret it in your own way. We are going to let a couple of our design team members share with you how to incorporate Authentique Paper products into your everyday scrapbook projects.

This year as like many others I have been doing the unconventional way
of my Project Life.. I have done it the original way using the products
but living in Canada shipping is a problem and it gets very expensive.

So this year I can up with a way to use my Instagram photo's and
for journaling I make my own pockets and the journaling sits
there with added photo's etc..

I wanted to show you how amazing Authentique Papers look
with your Project Life layouts.
these pages are 8.5 x11.
Using the paper collection "SUMMER"

This is my full layout in my binder.
week 16

For the top of my page I added some banners using the papers from the 12 x 12 collection
and the 6 x 6 collections.

The words are from the papers and some to the other lines word sticker sheets.. I tell you
the word sticker sheets are my favourite for my Project Life.. and you get a variety of everyday
words so journaling is easy.

t\he pocket is just a piece of paper 5.5 x 3.5 scored on 3 sides about 1/2 inch and glued to the
white cardstock. they the tops measure 2.5 x 4.5 in width.  and that is folded on the scored parts and  glued on the white cardstock, you are only gluing the scored 1/2 inch folds.
.. and there you have the perfect pocket for holding all your journaling needs and extra photos.

For the next page in my week I added 1/2 circle scallops with another banner. and some of the
word stickers on my photo's..  I just love this sunny "SUMMER" collection for my Project Life
this week.  If you are a Project Lifer this is a great way of changing up your
basic cards with any of the Authentique collections.

To be honest, I cannot keep up with scrapping weekly unless it is a vacation week. So when Spring Break came along, I jumped at the chance to challenge myself to scrap an entire week of my activities. Since the Renew Collection fit perfectly with my theme of Spring Break, I started before I even had one photo taken.
I began my layout by filling a few of my photo sleeves with 4x6" pieces of paper. I knew that I wanted to add some journalling, so saved a few areas for this very reason.
On my first page, I used my Silhouette to cut out the month titles. I created a Silhouette file awhile back, and wanted to use it for my layout. I also added some handwritten and sticker elements in this using the Renew alphas from the Elements stickers.
Throughout the layout, I really utilized all of the pieces of the Paper Crafting Assortment. The Puzzle PiecesCircles and ScallopsMini Notes and Titles and Phrases were my favorite ways to add more interest in each section.
I also loved tossing in the Diction words from the Elements stickers here and there whenever I could use them.  And those chevrons, those are actually photo corners!
