Welcome everyone! It's Emily here today sharing a fun project with our new "Be(you)tiful" collection and a little added sparkle from Art Glitter!
Originally, I wanted to make a canvas... but I was fresh out of blank canvases! In that case, I always improvise.
I have a TON of this MDF type board laying around, it's almost like the hard board that clipboards are made from, but a little thicker. I bought it from Lowe's for about $8 and got several pieces cut. I decided to attempt to make a sort of "faux canvas" with it. It's not dimensional like a stretched canvas, but can still act as a really cool home decor piece.
I layered my paper and stitched it before gluing it onto the board. I used a 6x6 board, so the 6x6 bundle sheets fit perfectly. Once I got it glued down, I added some Creative Medium from Imagine Crafts/Tsukneko for extra dimension.
When I started embellishing, I laid everything out where I wanted it, then glued it all down. I wanted to show some of the fine details in some of the stickers and die cuts, so I added some Art Glitter with the Ultrafine tip for their clear adhesive. This tip is a lifesaver. As you can see, some of the detail with the glitter really stands out, it's really hard to achieve this look with normal glitter and glue.
Art Glitter has some really nice fine glitter that is great for intricate designs. Their products work great with Authentique paper, stickers, & die cuts.
Thanks for stopping by today!

This décor piece is be(you)tiful. I'm very interested in the Art Glitter use as well. I had never heard of this product previously so, I am going to check it out. I assume the silver glitter scallop outline at the top is this glitter? Looks fantastic for freehand glitter glue
