Hi everyone, it's Audrey, here today with a summertime card share made with the oh-so adorable Seasons: Summer Petite Collection and lots of fun Art Glitter products.
The Summer Seasons collection is so bright and happy, and just perfect for documenting all those happy summertime memories. After a rather long winter, I am definitely ready to "catch some rays", like this fun cardstock sticker from the Components Sticker Sheet says.
By highlighting some detailing with fun Art Glitter, you can turn a simple cardstock sticker into a stunning focal point, like I did here. Now my sentiment really shines!
When I think of catching some rays, I often think of the beach, and I wanted to create a bit of a beachy feel with some lapping ocean waves at the bottom and a bright sun at top. I handcut the sun from chevron print 6x6 paper and accented some of the stripes with more Art Glitter. It's so easy to do with Art Glitter's Designer Adhesive with the fine tip applicator.
The ocean waves are easy, too. Just a bit of patterned paper with a torn edge, dressed up with Art Glitter microbeads. Tied the card up with a bit of twine and a big happy bow to finish things off.
Enjoy!
Supplies:

Hello! I love that card! I've recently been super into making cards, and am going to a birthday party tonight with a card for a friend: I've taken to making these elaborate, inked, embellished cards and attaching a funny modified picture of them with favorite celebrities (tonight's card has our birthday girl with Benedict Cumberbatch and a Dalek from Dr. Who!)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your papers are great, and the sparkles are so pretty!
