Joyous in July

I love Christmas. It's my absolute favorite holiday. I especially love Christmas now that my little girls are old enough to share in the magic. I always seem to be saving pictures for the perfect set of papers, and these Christmas photographs are no different. Every year, my in-laws take us to breakfast with Santa. We get to have an amazing breakfast, and the girls get to spend time with Santa Claus.
I really love this line. It's so traditional, and worked really well with the colors in Santa's suit. I combined the Diverse and Classic papers with the green of the Foundations paper. The title is created using a Silhouette cut that I altered to better suit my title (Intent & Decorate) along with stickers from the 8x12" Elements sticker sheet. I also included pieces from both the Paper Crafting Assortment, and the Statements Accent Sheet.

I also made a cute little decorative mini album and container for it. It's a sweet little Maya Road box, that I chose to decorate as a gift, so that when you open the box, you find the tiny decorative mini album.

The tiny mini album just gets tucked into the present. It's great as another decorative touch for Christmas. The Maya Road burlap flower was just the perfect size and shade of red to act as a bow on top. To make sure that it stayed on the box, I used Beacon's Quick Grip Glue.
To fit the size of each of the pages, I used papers from the 6x6 pad, and pieces of the Paper Crafting Assortment.

It's just the sweetest little thing. It would also be fun to add some fun, tiny photographs to each of the pages.

  5. This is a really cool idea. I like mini albums much more than scrapbooks. I think because they are much quicker to make!!
