Hi there, it's Eva here today sharing an Accordion Card I created with our gorgeous "Natural" collection with the help of my Scor-buddy mini Scor-pal, Spellbinders dies, Petaloo flowers and May Arts ribbon. Here is what it looks like.
First of all I love my Scor-pal and can't live without it. As a card maker it's very important to me as I need a nice fold on my cards and my Scor-pal delivers every time with no fail. And let's talk about my Scor-tape. It's a tape that comes in different width for any project, tears easy to use the amount you need and I can always trust to stay glued, it holds pretty much anything. Love working with it and have been for many years. My project was put together with it of course. So, as I was thinking about how best it would be to show off my tool, I decided to create a Accordion card with folds and found this awesome tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.
How I started was to die cut my front and back using Spellbinders Labels Seventeen out of black card stock. Than I cut my black card stock for the inside and scored it to create the accordion to fit in between the front and back. Using one size smaller of the Spellbinders Labels Seventeen I cut out of the patterned paper and used them as my background on the insides.
As I was thinking what I should use for the inside I decided why not use some pictures from our recent vacation to Hawaii. I thought it was perfect and was able to decorate the pages with the "elements" stickers.
The little stickers were just a perfect way to remember the way we felt on our magical vacation.
Finally let me share how I created the front of my card. My focal point here was Authentique's Hampton Art stamp called Grateful Heart. What a beautiful stamp set and it was a perfect addition to the sentiments of my card. I white embossed it onto black card stock, than cut it out and layered it onto beautiful labels cut out of our papers using Spellbinders Opulant Ovals. To make this even sweeter I added Petaloo's Penny Lane flowers in pink. As a final touch, in order to close my Accordion Card I had to add a ribbon and found the perfect touch in my May Arts taupe ribbon.
Well, hope you enjoyed this little project and make sure you come back every day for more inspiration!

Kay Fatula
Hello once again fellow crafters! Kay here with my take on a flip wallet mini album. I've used products by Scor-Pal to create the base of my mini & to adhere all of the flip pages.
I've used papers from the Natural collection. The cover is adorned with Petaloo flowers and vine. For the Petaloo vine, I snipped it in half & then arranged the two sides next to one another. The metal ornamental frame which will hold the tile of the mini is also by Petaloo.
This album will be a gift for a good friend which is why it's empty. I made it with several pages so it has lots of room for several photos & journaling.
The album measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/4".
Here's the first page of the mini album. The cover is held together with a white circle velcro.
As I start flipping the pages you can start to see all the different layers beneath each page. Each layer opens up like a book--either horizontally or vertically.
This is the bottom layer. This layer holds a couple of cutouts from the Natural collection that I've turned into journaling tags by rounding out the corners & adding a bit of gray tulle for ribbon.
I've made a small pocket in the bottom flip page & added two side pockets that flip out as well to the two side flip pages.
Here I've flipped open one of those tag pockets & pulled out the tag so you can see what they look like.
The best part about this flip wallet mini is that it's meant to hold a bit of dimensional embellishments.
Here's a side view of the mini when fully closed. As you can see it has about a 1/2" border--so it's sorta like a mini book. The flip pages inside all have either a 1/2" or 1/4" spine which allows for small dimensional embellies to be added.
I scored all of my pages with the Scor-Pal. To make this mini you'll need:
- Base - 6 1/4" x 10 1/2". On the 10 1/2" side score at 6 1/4 & 6 3/4
- Top - 6 1/4" x 5 3/4. On the 6 1/4" side score at 3/4" & 1 1/4"
- Top Flip Pages - (2) 6 1/4" x 6 1/2". On the 6 1/2" side score at 3/4" & 1 1/4" (you'll have a 1/2" spine)
- Inner Flip Pages - (2) 6 1/4" x 6 1/2". On the 6 1/2" side score at 3/4" & 1" (you'll have a 1/4" spine)
- Bottom Flip Page - 6 1/4" x 12". On the 12" side score at 6 1/4" & 6 3/4"
Here are all my scored pages & base ready to be put together. I used Scor-Tape to adhere all the pages.
Adhere the base & top layers together long wise. Your Scor-Tape should be on the first scored border for all pages. You want to get either a 1/2" spine or a 1/4" spine (depending on the scores) for each flip page including the base & top.
Next adhere two top flip pages as shown. These are the two pages with the 1/2" spine.
Adhere the inner flip pages right on top of the two top flip pages. These are the ones with the 1/4" spine.
Finally adhere the bottom 6 1/4" x 12" page. When you scored you should've ended up with a 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" square. This square is what is adhered to the bottom of the mini & the left over flap folds up & over. This is the base of your mini & you're done!
I like to fold my mini in the following order. When placed completely open I fold the two inner flips first, then the bottom flap folds over the two inner flaps followed by the two top flip pages & then the base & top folds in order to close the mini.
Now go ahead & embellish away. You can add photos, pockets, flowers, ribbon, tags etc. The two tag pockets that are shown in the photos that are attached to the two inner flip pages were add-ons. I just wanted additional space for tags/journaling.
Thank you all for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of the week!
