Hi everyone, it's Audrey, here sharing a quick and easy gift wrapping idea featuring our fabulous Joyous collection and lots of pretty flowers from our amazing product partner, Petaloo.
I love wrapping pretty packages for the holidays. I think my all-time favorite wrap is simple brown kraft paper. The natural look works for every person on my gift-giving list, any age, male or female, and it is so easy to personalize your package with a few basic scrapbooking supplies, like I've done here.
A pretty gift like this is sure to wow your recipient and look like a million bucks. And the best thing is, this wrap is actually very simple to make. But shhhh.....nobody will ever know, so don't tell.
To begin, wrap your gift in kraft wrapping paper. Place the red striped file folder from the Petite Folders die cuts at one edge of the box so that the folder wraps over the top and down one side of the box. Then tie the box up in your favorite ribbon.
Cut a 1.5" strip of patterned paper slightly longer than the box is wide. Layer with a ruler strip cut from the Intent paper, notch the ends into fishtails and adhere strips to the center of the knotted ribbon.
Tie two bows from black and cream gingham ribbon and adhere to the center of the paper banners. Then affix a bouquet of beautiful Petaloo flowers to the bows using strong tacky glue. Tuck in a die cut Puzzle Piece Paper Accent as a tag, and your package is ready for gifting!
Enjoy!
Supplies:
Authentique Joyous Collection:
"classic" 12x12 paper
"intent" 12x12 paper
petite folders
"puzzle pieces" paper accents
Petaloo:
Mixed Textured Blossoms Ivory
Mini Red Poinsettias
Trim Asst Glitz- All Red
Trim: May Arts (gingham, polka dots)
Kraft Wrapping Paper
