Loes de Groot
Hello! Loes here today to share a layout that I created with the fabulous chipboard embellishments from UmWowStudio. Since it's Throwback Thursday, I used an older paper collection,  Loyal, it is one of my favorites! I'm down to using my scraps from this one!

For this layout, I used kraft cardstock for the background, it goes well with the raw chipboard elements.

When i saw the embellishments I fell in love with these little polaroid frames.

As you can see, I layered a lot of different sized patterned papers. I finished with a lot of the details stickers from the "Loyal" collection.

Products Used:
Authentique: "Loyal" collection 12 x 12 papers, details stickers
Um Wow Studio: Arrow tittle mash, large love this polaroid, miniature blank polaroid

Eva Dobilas
Hi, this is Eva with some pretty cards that sparkle, just in time for winter.  We are turning the time back and using some of our older pretty Authentique collections along with gorgeous UmWOW Studios chipboards.  I choose to work with our Peaceful Collection.

My first card is using UmWOW Studios Floral Set Chipboard set, which I embossed with glitter power.  It turned out so pretty.  I also used Spellbinders Captivating Squares dies.

My second card is using UmWOW Studios Layered Butterflies, which once again I embossed, but since they are layered I embossed the bottom butterfly with the glitter embossing powder and the layer one with white, so it's just an outline.  I think these layered chipboards are super fun to play with.

Once again I used Spellbinder dies to layer onto my die cut and also my butterfly chipboards and I used Spellbinders Captivating Squares dies.  The pretty scallop border is also Spellbinders called A2 Scallop Borders One Dies.  Finally I tied a bow around my card with a red seam binding ribbon and tied my sentiment tag on with a jute.

Well, hope you like these pretty chipboards and pick some up to play with.

Throwback Thursday means that I had the chance to use one of my favorite Authentique Paper collections- "Original."  And since we're incorporating wood pieces from UmWow Studios, I thought that the "Original" paper would be the perfect palette for showcasing these embellishments.

To start the background for this layout, I put the "Harlequin" stencil down and sponged in the pattern with Inka Gold Metallic Rub in Steel Blue.  I used a sponge applicator for putting applying this medium because it's so rich and creamy and works better than a brush.
Next I laid down the "Art Is" script stencil and used a pastry knife to spread the Bronze Modeling Cream into the stencil.  Although the color is named Bronze, I would say that it is definitely more towards the copper color which I thought would match the rivets found in the "Original" paper pattern.  Because the Modeling Cream is thick, a little bit goes a long way!
Once the Modeling Cream was dry and had set, I added the harlequin print border from the "Original" paper.  I simply cut along the pattern to mirror the stenciled pattern in blue.
Now it's time to add some photos to the UmWow Studios wood film frame.  I used ¼˝ blue ribbon to thread through the holes running along the sides of the film frame before I added in my photos.  This was mounted onto the page with dimensional tape.
Along the bottom I laid down the canvas ribbon first.  Next were the "Original" layering pieces under the photos, which were topped with another piece of coordinating denim colored ribbon.  I repeated the ribbon used in the photo strip at the bottom of each photo which I tied bows onto before mounting the photos with dimensional tape.  I finished the layout with the coordinating harlequin print embellishment from UmWow Studios.

Products Used:
Authentique Paper: "Original" paper collection
UmWow Studios:
Crafter's Workshop: "Harlequin" and "Art Is" 12˝x12˝ stencils
Viva Colour: Inka Gold Metallic Rub Steel Blue, Modeling Cream Bronze
Ribbon:  May Arts
