A Kiwi Lane & Authentique Paper Christmas!

Shellye here with a couple of quick projects using 
Kiwi Lane templates and Authentique's Joyous Collection!
I love the simple and classic shapes found in the Christmas Accessory Set
and I've used a couple of the pieces in the card and gift tag below.
First up I have an ornament shaped card:
I traced the larger ornament shape onto the 12X12 Joyous paper twice, as shown below:

You may line the inside of the card (if the paper pattern is too dark).
The smaller ornament was traced and cut out from one of the 6X6 Paper Pad pages and then attached to the side of the larger ornament with foam adhesive.
Peridot glitter added some sparkle to the ornament tops and a fun puzzle piece and stickers completed the smaller ornament's decoration.  I added a black/white baker's twine with a glue pen.

 Next I have a really quick poinsettia gifting tag.  I'm always in need of pretty tags!
I cut the shape from the Joyous 12X12 paper twice and then sanded around the edges.  For the leaves, I used the same poinsettia template on one of the green 6X6 Paper Pad sheets.
Embellish with a vintage sticker from the collection and you're finished!

    Do you know I went shopping today and bought a load of papers and when I got home it turns out they are all Authentique. How cool is that! Love Kiwi Lane templates but not on facebook so will have to visit their site instead. Love the poinsettia in the christmas accessory set. Flower power cards.....

    Such a wonderful Christmas inspired project! I love how you used the templates! I would love to use the ornament template to make my own 3D Christmas ornaments.

    So lovely!! What a great idea for a card. I would love to use this template to make place cards ( yes, large ones!) for my Christmas table.

    Pretty card and tag! I love that the card looks like an ornament and I love the poinsettia. I would make Christmas layouts and decorations with the templates.

    Love how you used the twine on your ornament-shaped card. Such an unexpected color, but it looks fabulous! That poinsettia template is a must have! Your tag is gorgeous! LOVE tags! Of course, everything looks even better with this amazing Joyous collection!!

    On the 10th day of Christmas, Authentique gave to us:

    10 Ideas a Leaping in our minds of ornaments that we could make with the templates.

    9 Ladies Dancing around with great crafting ideas in their heads....like using the templates for a shaped activity book for my little granddaughter

    8 tiny maidens with sun bonnets (love that piece from this Precious collection!)

    7 sewers a stitching (love the stitching on this tree!)

    6 Trees awaiting (these adorable cookie cutter ornaments)

    5 Olden designs (love the vintage patterns in the Tradition set!)

    4 altered boxes (for lovely gift-giving)

    3 French knots (actually they were cross-stitches on the adorable snowman)

    2 Tombow Glues

    and a "Joyous" sound from crafters the world round.
