Hi there! Loes here today to show you how to crate a card with a gift inside!
First you cut two pieces of 12 x 4 inch patterned paper and glue them together.
Next, you make two score lines at 5.5 inch and 6.5 inch and fold the lines, this is the base of your card.
Open the card and cut two pieces of patterned paper 5 x 3 1/4 inches, and glue them in the center on the right and left side.
On the left side, cut a little piece of paper 3.5 x 2 inches.
After that, I made four little pockets with a die by memory box, when you don't have a die like this you can make the little tags and add them with foam tape in the center of the left side.
The size of the little tags are: 1 1/4 inch x 3/4 inch, I cut the stickers a little bit smaller to fit.
On the right side, I cut a little frame out of the 12x12 elements paper, and added the little bird with foam tape. The dark piece of paper is 2.5 x 1 inch.
I decorated the little bottle and used glue dots to keep it in place.
I made two holes on the spine and added eyelets. After that, I took some May Arts Ribbon and put them through the holes.
On the front I cut two pieces of patterned paper and layered them. The back piece is 3.5 x 5 inches, and the front piece is: 4.5 x 3 inches. I placed the stickers and used a Sizzix die for more embellishments.
Now you can spruce up your traditional cards by adding little gifts inside!
I hope I was able to inspire you!
