Mini Wooden Dresser With 'Flourish'

Hello Authentique fans!  Today I have a mini wooden dresser that I decorated with elements from the 'Flourish' collection.  This dresser was just a plain wooden dresser when it was purchased.  I painted it all in white & then adhered different papers from the 'Flourish' collection in order to dress it up.  The designs & colors of the 'Flourish' papers turned this natural wooden dresser into an ideal trinket storage box for a little girl.
This bright pink mini frame is an adornment that I added to the top of the dresser.  It's removable & one can insert a small photo there if they wish.  All the other elements seen here are adhered to the top of the dresser.
The vine going across the drawers of the dresser is a chipboard that I had in my stash.  It was painted in pink to match the papers & then heat embossed with transparent 'Star Dust' embossing powder.  This embossing powder gave the chippie a shimmery effect.

I positioned the chipboard vine in a way that I could snip it in the areas where the drawers of the dresser open & close.  So all the drawers on the dresser can be opened & it will not disrupt the chipboard vine.  When all the drawers are closed you can see the full design of the vine.
Here's the back of the mini dresser.  This dresser was a first for me so I did not take photos of my process because it was an 'ad hoc' creation.  I apologize for that.  I had a 'vision' in my head but didn't know quite how to achieve this vision.  So my process changed numerous times as I went about creating this mini dresser.  I hope to have a chance to alter another dresser soon & this time I promise to take photos of my process. :-)

Hope this inspires some of you to purchase natural wooden boxes and/or trinkets & convert them into something wonderful with the use of a few embellishments, paint & Authentique paper!

Enjoy the rest of the week!
