Create A 12x12 Scrapbook Album with "Accomplished"

Hello! Loes here today to share how to make your own 12x12 scrapbook album from scratch! You have never enough albums!

I used the "Accomplished" collection for this album. When I saw this collection, I fell in love because I am a big fan of using craft and twine together.

I made a little tutorial to share today.

You will need some fabric, I used canvas in the size 37.5 inches x  17.5 inches and fiberfill 14.5 x 13.5 inches.

Cut two pieces chipboard 14.5 x 13,.5 inches and one piece 13.5 x 4 2/8 inches.`

Make lines as shown on the left piece of chipboard, after that make little holes in the middle of every square. I used here a screw punch.

Place the fiberfill on the chipboard with the lines and lay it down on the fabric, see photo.

After that, glue it to the fabric, I used tacky glue and made it thinner with some water. Let it dry! The space between the chipboard parts are 2/8 inch.

Time for the buttons, I used thin twine, put it through the little holes and knitted it on the front.

Glue the edges of the inside and fold the fabric around the chipboard parts.

For the middle, I used fabric too, the size is 12 x 11 inches
and I used fabric ribbon for the finishing touch.

Glue two 12x12 papers to the left and right and make holes. You have to look at your page protectors to figure out where to place the holes. For the binding I used 3.5 inch binding rings.

I used transparent buttons and glossy accents to glue the buttons on the paper.

The flower is from a Sizzix die.

On the back the paper is 12x12 inch.

I also made the first layout to put in the album.

I hope that I was able to inspire you today!
