The Whisper of A "Pretty" Girl

Hey everyone, it's  Loes here today to share a 12x12 layout using one of the newest collections released by Authentique Paper, "Classique: Pretty". 

   I love the pink and black color scheme in this collection, but I chose to focus more on the soft green tones for this layout. I decided to make step by step photos for this layout because I usually get a lot of questions about the layering on my layouts.

  

 The base is simply black card-stock, then I take a patterned paper and grunge up the edges. I only add a little tape to the center and use the sewing machine to secure the edges.

 It's not necessary to stitch straight.

 Glue a piece of lace in the middle of your page.

I used a sizzix lattice die. The green piece is  9 1/4 x 3 1/2 inch, and the small black and white piece is 2 3/4 x 0.5 inch

 The small black one is 1 1/8 x 10 inch, and the black and white one 1 1/5 x 3 inch.

 The photo I used is 4 x 6 inch and I matted it on a larger piece of pink paper.

As you can see I glue it all down and add foam tape for more dimension.

Now for the fun part! Embellish it with the flowers and swirls and the lovely detail stickers from this collection. As you see, my title is a detail sticker too!

I used a punch for some little butterflies on the layout.

Of course, I challenged myself a little bit. When I was working on my layout I thought I would also create a man card.
