If looking for a quick & eye-catching card for any occasion--consider making a tri-fold shutter card.  There are countless of tutorials available for creating these cards.  What makes these cards unique is how you embellish them.

For my card I used papers from the 'Radiant' collection in combination with stamps by Avery Elle.

These stamps by Avery Elle are excellent for creating your own backgrounds.  I stamped the image with coordinating ink and further decorated the stamped images with Star Dust Stickles.
The size of the card is 6" x 12" when opened up.  Making the cad 6" wide gave me the correct measurements to use one of the Radiant Life Cards as the main sentiment on the inside of the card.
On the cover, I stamped the sentiment and then used 3 different Spellbinders Nestabilities Scallop Circle dies to frame the stamped sentiment.  Each layer was adhered with foam dots in order to give them a bit of dimension.  Dots of Stickles, acrylic paint & Liquid Pearls were applied along the border of the scallop circles.

I hope this card inspires some of you to create tri-fold shutter cards--they're quick n' easy to make.  Thanks for stopping by & enjoy the rest of the week!
