Thanksgiving Gift box with "Grateful" & Kiwi Lane
Today I am going to shop you how to make a big flower with our beautiful Fall/Thanksgiving collection, "Grateful" along with the shape templates from Kiwi Lane Designs.
I decided to use the christmas accessory set to make a big 3 D flower. I used it here on my star gift box, but it's great for Thanksgiving projects too.
I made a little step by step tutorial to show how I created this project.
First, cut one green and two red flowers out of the paper,
Cut a little incision in one of the red flowers (see below.)
On the green one, use an embosser to make a few lines on the petals.
Emboss on the worn side the flower with the little cut, put a little quick dry glue and assemble.
Cut a third flower and cut the petals apart as shown below.
Emboss the pieces again, this time on red side.
Use the quick dry glue and staple your flower
first the green then the red ones. Add a button to the center for a finishing touch.
When I finished my flower, I made a star box with a template from pinterest.
I made my star box so that I can put a little gift inside.
In my case, little vanilla scented candles, to me they smell like Autumn.
I hope I was able to inspire you to create a cute gift box with the "Grateful" and the Kiwi Lane templates!
