A Perfect Day with 'Durable'

Having basically only men to scrap in my life works out perfectly when a collection such as 'Durable' comes along.  This collection was the answer for me when it came to creating pages for a few of the recent photos I had taken of my husband & son spending some quality time together.  As luck would have it--even the colors of clothing they wore that day went nicely with the earth tone colors of 'Durable'.

I added my usual collection of embellishments from my own personal stash in order to bring out the colors of 'Durable' & to add some dimension to the page.  A fave embellishment of mine is the intertwining string that flows along my page.

I added a bit more design to the background of my page with some random stamping & misting.  The design of my page is based on a sketch from The Nifty Pixel.

If wondering how I adhere my strings and/or twine to my pages the answer is hot glue.  My hot glue gun is my best friend when it comes to scrapping.  I keep it on the low setting & this is enough for adhering most embellishments such as twine/string, flowers & chipboard.

Thanks for stopping by & I hope this page inspires some of you to scrap those masculine photos!
