Easter Home Decor with "Treasure"

Creating holiday home decor is easy and fun when you pair our fabulous new Treasure collection with unique wooden pieces from our friends at SPC Surfaces. Today we have a festive Easter easel frame project to share with you. Super easy to put together and sure to add a ton of holiday charm for the season.

This easel-style frame is truly a favorite alterable project, as it can be used in so many different ways. The frame of course can be used to display your favorite photos, or the double-sided feature allows you to create two unique projects that can be seen from either side. The wooden surfaces are super easy to paint, stain, or cover with your favorite Authentique papers.

This frame has been painted and papered using two bright contrasting prints from the 12x12 Treasure patterned papers. A third print was added to the inside of the frame opening, then a few additional layers were added with a small mat and a wide strip down the middle. A festive journaling card from the Enhancements Cut Apart paper takes center stage. A little bit of lace trim at the bottom of the card, and popping up the whole with 3D dots calls extra special attention to that fabulous subway-art sentiment.

And what says Easter more than an adorable Easter bunny? This one was die cut and detailed with lace and trim and a big pom pom tail, edged with paint, and added to the outside of the frame. A bit of die cut wavy grass finishes things off.

Hope we've inspired you to try creating your own quick and easy home decor projects. Thanks for stopping by!
