Durable Starburst Cards

It's flashback Friday! Our Durable collection may have made it's debut last year, but this one is timeless and perfect for everyday card making! 

Today I have two cards that are created using the Durable Collection. I really like this collection, as the colors are very rich and can be blended with other collections for a different look.

For this set of cards, I cut 1.5" strips of various 12x12 papers into 2"-5" pieces. I then cut those diagonally and ended up with multiple wedge shapes that I could place together onto a pre-glued rectangle into the starburst. Once all of the pieces are placed, cut off the edges.

To cover up the center of the starburst, I grabbed the Components die cuts sheet and Details stickers, and used some dimensional adhesive to make the sentiments pop up from the card.

And to add just an extra pop of color, I used my Foundations papers to perfectly match the colors in the patterned cardstock pieces.
