Homestead Strawberry Basket with Petaloo Flowers

Authentique Paper and Petaloo are teaming up over the next week to bring you some amazing inspiration featuring our newest collections along with Petaloo Products!

After you check out the projects here on the Authentique Paper blog, be sure to head on over to the Petaloo blog to find out what the talented members of their Design Team have in store for you today!

***************************

I'm a sucker for an amazing woodgrain. When I saw first saw the new Homestead Collection, I knew that I wanted to incorporate the lovely woodgrain Nuture paper into a project somehow. I settled upon this cute little strawberry basket box card from the Silhouette Online Store.

Each of the berries uses the wonderful Balanced paper. I just loved the little swiss dot pattern.

All of the green foliage is cut from the Spectrum line.

Rather than add in the original flowers, I decided to replace them with the lovely Petaloo Teastained Yellow blooms instead. They made the most perfect strawberry flowers. The tiny leaves were great additions to the die cut leaves, and added just the right amount of texture.

To give this little box card a sentiment, I trimmed the ends off of a sticker from the Details sheet and added it to the little tag.

I cannot wait to send this little lovely piece of happy mail off! Next time you have a project, make sure to add some pretty blooms to it!

Supplies Used:
Authentique Paper: Homestead Collection (Nurture, Balanced, Details stickers)
Petaloo International: Teastained Yellow Blooms
Other Supplies: white cardstock, Silhouette Cameo & Online Store
