Classic Christmas ornament shaker box

Authentique Paper and Petaloo are teaming up over the next week to bring you tons of Christmas/Winter themed inspiration using Authentique Paper and Petaloo products! 

  Country Craft Creations design team member Kimmy Murray has created the perfect holiday Victorian Ornament shaker box. Using our "Classic Christmas" collection that would make the best handmade gift! 

   If you love Victorian style Christmas papers you will adore Authentique’s festive and ornate paper collection “Classic Christmas”.  Today I am sharing with you my Country Craft Creations design team project, a Victorian Ornament shaker box.This box holds 6 ornament tags and then once the tags are hung on the tree, the box can be used as a stunning yuletide display. For my project I also used the following stunning floral collections, “Burlap Poinsettas” from Petaloo’s Textured Elements collection and “Regal Velvet Poinsettia” from their Botanica Collection.

     The ornament box measures 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 and can hold up to 6 tag ornaments.  

The tag ornaments inside the box are 4 ½ x 4 ½ . I added patterned paper from the collection to each side of the tag, which I distressed with brushed corduroy and adorned some of the tags with Petaloo’s Red Burlap Poinsettias and some with the white Velvet Poinsettias. 

After placing the florals where I wanted them I  began to embellish with snowflakes, wood chippies, pearls, glitter and canadian pine stems.
