Leprechaun Treats with the Emerald Collection
Happy March! Today I am sharing a fun mini bag and cauldron to get your St. Patty's decoration spirit going! I love using little projects and items to decorate, and these two creations are no exception. I used a combination of both the new Emerald Collection, and some of my favorite Spectrum Series papers to create both of these projects today.
To start with, I created this fun little bag from Sweet Afton for candy, note cards, cookies, the ideas are endless. I started with the fabulous plaid of Emerald Two. I'm a sucker for mixing plaid and polka dots, so it was natural that I chose to use the great mini dots from Emerald Three for both the shamrock and bow.
I also wanted to create a little punch of interest, so mimicked the shamrock on the bow with the shamrocks on the other side of Emerald Three. To make this little bag easy to get in and out of without taping or closing it permanently, I also used some Tombow Fastener Tabs (you could also use Velcro strips).
For the fabulous pot o' gold, I used the great pot o' gold box from Snapdragon Snippets. It's actually a box that you can hide fun treats inside! I used only one piece of Spectrum Series cardstock in Cobblestone for this. Adding a green ribbon and some "gold pieces" made this a perfect Leprechaun pot of gold.
Have a great day, and thank you for spending some time with us at Authentique!
