The Perfect Vacation Photo with the Pastime Collection

I have tried to scrapbook this photo about three times, and nothing ever felt right, until the Pastime Collection. I love how each piece of the collection really spoke to the wonderful elegance of our vacation a couple of years ago. I loved all of the colors, the rich patterns and textures. Everything was just perfect.
I started with the wonderful woodgrain of Pastime Eleven. I envisioned a large castle in the background, and contrasted that with the light blue of Pastime Ten.
I then matted the large photo with Pastime One, and started layering Detail stickers with dimensional adhesive for depth.
The negative space around the castle was screaming for some fireworks created with Spectrum paper in Mustard Seed.
I added some more of the Details stickers, and even a little date stamp using some old Petite Type  stickers from my stash of older Authentique Collections.
I added quite a few more Details stickers, some layered in dimensional adhesive. To add more interest, I also ink all of the edges of the paper and stickers with ink.
I have also been on a bit of a card-making kick, and whipped up a sweet little card using the Pastime Collection as well. I pulled out the 6x6 Bundle Paper Pad instead, utilizing the smaller print scale for the smaller project. Adding some of the larger Details stickers and some dimensional adhesive, and a great mailable card is complete.

Thank you for stopping by today!
