A 'Sweetheart' Heart Waterfall Mini Album With A 'Crush' Throwback

 

With Valentine's Day around the corner, I felt it was appropriate to create a couple of love themed projects.  So in keeping with my latest mini album kick, I've made this heart waterfall mini with Authentique's 'Sweetheart' collection.  

Mini measures 8" x 5 3/4" & has a magnetic closure.

 

The mini opens up to reveal three full length pockets & a heart shaped waterfall.  Inside the pockets are several tags/booklets ranging in sizes from 7" x 5" inches to 3 3/4" x 3" inches.

 

 The bottom of the mini is what gives this album it's name.  It's a heart shaped waterfall.  These hearts can hold wallet sized photos with no cropping needed!  I love unique shaped items & felt that having hearts as photo mats would make this particular love themed project stand out. 

The construction of this waterfall is pretty much just like the traditional technique, only difference is that the photo mats are shaped like hearts.

 

In addition to this mini album, I also have a 'throwback' project from one of Authentique's older love themed collections.  The below is a pocket page mini, consisting of 6 pages with several pockets where tags/photos/journaling/mementos can be stored.

 

The album measures approximately 6 1/4" x 3 3/4" inches with a 2 3/4" inch spine. It is made with designer papers from Authentique's 'Crush' collection. 

 

Each pocket page has a photo mat measuring 5 1/2" x 3 3/8" inches. These photo mats have glitter card stock on one side & embossed card stock on the other side. Each page has a 2nd front outer pocket with two tags. Large tag measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" inches & small tag measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" inches. There's also a smaller mini 'wavy' pocket on each page where small mementos/journaling can be tucked in. 

Mini is held closed with light pink ribbon.

 

There is also an additional pocket on the back cover with a couple more tags tucked inside.

 

The front cover has a belly band with even more tags stored within.

 

I have videos for both types of minis to show all the characteristics of each one.  These minis can be a little difficult to photograph; I find that being able to show them on video gives a full representation of each mini album.
