Cheerful Mini Album Fun with Daniela!

Hi Friends!  Daniela here to show off a fun project with the Authentique Paper Cheerful Collection.  With the weather starting to warm up and we are getting outdoors, Cheerful is the perfect paper collection to document a fun day outdoors!  I love to make mini albums that you can place photos, memorabilia and journaling.  This album has that and more!

I really love the darling cutout cards from this collection.  Especially the one I used on the cover.  It features two darling kids having a picnic.  I called this album "Life is a Picnic" With paper that is a wood background, it lends itself perfectly to a picket fence.  I also found some super cute dies with birdhouses, which when cut with the papers from this collection, are a darling addition to the cover.  Top that off with some fun ribbons, flowers, and a wooden spoon I painted, This cover really came together.  I've also used a bright lime green paint for the album which makes all the papers POP!

The cutout cards are great to also make a flip out of it.  I used a piece of cardstock to make the flap and used the cute cutout on the front with some cute matching ribbon.
For these pages, I used the darling tag stickers from the sticker sheet and made a cute banner.  Tip - use baby powder on the back of any stickers you don't want to be sticky.  This way I can add pop foam to the back and not worry about the edges sticking down onto my page.  On the right side, I made a slide pocket where you only adhere the top and bottom of the paper and then slide a tag in.
Pocket pages are essential in mini albums.  I always add a few in mine for tags, journaling or even photos.  This one I made a cute pocket.  The other page is a flip up using darling elements from the sticker sheet.
These pages feature another type of pocket, I call a triangle pocket.  Tip - Put some cute ribbon on a cutout and use it as a tag.  If your tag has a patterned paper on it, place some plain cardstock on the back for journaling. For the right side, I fussy cut the flowers out of one of the papers.  I can fit a photo underneath that corner, since I only placed adhesive on the top corner.
I made another slide pocket here and the other page flips out for more journaling and photos.

These pages feature a flip out on the left and a pocket on the right with a tag I made.  I fussy cut a portion of a cutout for the tag.  With so many fun elements to Authentique Paper collections, you don't need a whole lot more to make it darling!
More pockets and more tags. Fun elements to journal on and these tags are large enough to place a photo onto it as well.  It's a fun way to add photos to your album and makes it interactive too!

Don't forget the back of your album.  Always find an extra sheet of paper and a good quote sticker for the back.  I have really enjoyed this collection and I'll be ready to put photos of our next family picnic!
