Companions Tag Style Scrapbook

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday! I'm dropping in to share a project I created with the gorgeous papers from Authentique. This week Polly's Paper Studio has been having fun recreating some of our favorite projects from the past but giving them an upgrade with new paper collections, trims, flowers, and embellishments.  The Companion collection inspired me to redesign a tag styled mini album and I had so much fun creating it!
These warm rich colors are just so gorgeous!
For the cover I used a large sticker from the collection and popped it up on foam to add loads of dimension. There's lots of layering here and pretty coordinating flowers and trims.
Images from the 6 x 6 paper pad are the perfect size for tags! I've used the Spectrum Cardstock as the base for these tags layered over thick chipboard to make them super sturdy.
Alternating the scale of the patterns is the secret to successful pattern layering. And using a cardstock border to keep the busy patterns separate.
Pretty trims and vintage buttons are the perfect accent without being too cluttered.
The lines on the Spectrum Cardstock make the perfect place to add journaling.  Bind the tags up in a generous sized clip ring to make it easy to remove the tags for adding pictures and memories!
I just can't get enough of all these patterns together!
Please enjoy this video on how I created the tags....
