Ready to Mail Nightfall Card Set
Halloween is one of the most fun times of the year. I love Fall, and October is a great time to celebrate all things Fall, especially Halloween. Since there are a few birthdays around Halloween in our household, I like to have a few cards on hand to send to people in the mail. The Nightfall Collection is a fantastic Halloween line to use for cards like these.
The great thing about each of these cards, is that they are essentially flat. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out some various images, and then only used one layer of foam adhesive. This way, they will be able to be mailed without any extra postage.
Adding a little grass over the bottom of the tombstone with some Spectrum papers added just a little bit of color to the pretty monotone card. Lastly, I added a few older Petite Diction stickers.
Lastly, I created a skull card. I loved the girly skull of this cut file, and really wanted to make it pop. I used dimensional adhesive and ink to create some thin dimension.
To set off the eyes, I added a set of pink eyeballs. This way, the skull goes from spooky to cute! Changing up the eyes can change the affect of the skull. Google eyes would also be fun!
Make sure to send out some fun cards this month! I hope that this inspires you to make a few cards that you can also mail to someone you like.

Supplies Used:
Authentique Supplies: Nightfall Collection (One, Three, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Details), Spectrum Collection (Crocodile Smile, Silver Dollar, Cobblestone), Petite Diction stickers
Other Supplies: Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette cut files, dimensional adhesive, ink, eye stickers

I started with a simple raven image. I used the cut apart card from Nightfall Eight as the backdrop for the raven. To add a more clear sentiment, I used a sticker from an older Authentique Collection.
For the RIP All Hallows' Eve card, I actually turned one of the cut apart cards from Nightfall Eight sideways. The witch on the card was cute, but I really wanted to highlight the tombstone with the great moon image, so I twisted it to the side, then centered the tombstone over the other image. Since the gate is behind the tombstone, you don't notice that the background image has been changed. Adding a little grass over the bottom of the tombstone with some Spectrum papers added just a little bit of color to the pretty monotone card. Lastly, I added a few older Petite Diction stickers.
