Kathy Clement is starting out our mini "hop" with her wonderful Easter Bunny Hideaway Shadowbox

The vintage vibe of the Abundant Collection is perfect for home decor.  Its neutral tones and springtime patterns mean that it goes with pretty much any color palette.  I whipped up a cute little Easter Bunny Hideaway using a 4" x 6" image from Abundant 6 and a shadow box house that I found while spring cleaning the Closet of Shame.
To make the image stand up, I fussy cut it with about a 1/2" border left on the bottom edge.  Then I cut little slits about every half inch to form tabs.  The tabs are adhered to the base of the shadow box.  Then I created a little support for the girl by bending a piece of corrugate so that there was a tab on each end.  Adhere one tab to the back of the girl, and adhere the other to the back of the shadow box.  You can cover it up with some Spanish Moss and no one is the wiser!

It would be fun to add a 4" x 6"  family Easter photo on the back of this Easter Bunny Hideaway, wouldn't it?  You can find tips, tricks, and a linked supply list over on my blog

Pam Bray continues our "hop" with her wonderful altered decor item, a bunny shaped planter. This is perfect for stuffing with some tasty treats!
Happy Easter to all of our Authentique Fans! Pam here today sharing my "Some Bunny Loves You Easter Planter" using Authentique's beautiful Abundant Collection!
Creating planters filled with candy is a fun way to celebrate Easter but you can also use for other holidays throughout the year.
First, find a fun wood or chipboard element at your local craft store, dollar store, etc. and cover it with pattern paper from your favorite Authentique Collection.

Add a small box to fit behind it, trim with twine and fill with yummy goodies, gifts or other treats. Remember to decorate your planter with Authentique's matching Detail and Element Sheets. Happy Easter! Pam

Next up on today's "hop" is Gloria Stengel. Today, Gloria shares with us a gorgeous card that can double as table decor!

There is something special about vintage Easter images that takes me right back to my childhood! Every Easter I got a new dress, and we had a lovely, lively Easter egg hunt on my parent's 2.5 acres! The sweet images in the Abundant Collection are like looking back to that, simpler time!
This adorable little girl reminds me of myself in many ways. I once had a cute, blue dress for Easter, and I also used to line up all my dolls and stuffed animals and "teach" them things. (Not to sing, because I have never had much of a singing ability!)

I started out wanting to create a long, slim card and ended up with one that could be a table decor, a card, a gift, and a scrapbook page!
Inside the card there is space for a gift card and two square photos.
For more details and a little tutorial, see my blog post: Scraps of Life. Thank  you so much for looking!

Last on today's "hop" is Ginny Nemchak. Ginny shares with us a beautiful multilayered card, perfect for sharing with someone special!
I'm using the oh so vintagy and charming Abundant Collection to create this multilayered greeting card. I've even used the patterned paper in the place of my usual cardstock border as that gorgeous warm rich brown of the basket weave matched so perfectly! The sweet girl image was part of a larger cut apart. It's die cut into a circle shape and stacked onto a a crisp white doily.

The inspiration for the embellishments was the pretty blue hues of the girls hat and dress. I remember getting dressed up like that for Easter with a dress and hat and even a little pocket book purse. I may or may not have hidden a little stash of candy in the purse for a quick snick snack during children's church lol.
The die cut sheet has so many great add on elements that can be used for sentiments like this one. To make it more sturdy I adhered it to heavy cardstock and clipped it out. Adding small eyelets gave me a space to wind through twine for a great textural detail.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy Easter.....G
