Happy Thanksgiving from Authentique Paper: Day One

Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of our fans, our designers, and all of the supporters of our wonderful company. We are so thankful, that we wanted to share with you some great Thanksgiving-based projects from all of our designers. Have fun with us this week!

Happy Thanksgiving, Authentique Fans! I love to decorate for the holidays, and I love to re-purpose things! I altered one of my daughter's old college textbooks to make this project. This idea can be used for home decor, a place setting decoration, or for wrapping a REAL gift for your holiday hostess!

You can make your project in any size you wish and decorate it as much or as little as fits your occasion! My old book is 9" x 6", so this is a larger item. I thought it would be a great idea if you wished to wrap some recipes or a journal and use it as a place card! (I wrapped an old book, just to show you how you could wrap an item of your choice.)

For today's group post, I have a pop up Thanksgiving card made with the 'Gracious' collection.  The card measures 5" x 5" inches and is held closed with ribbon.

It's a bit hard to photograph this card once open--this photo is the best shot I could take when it's fully opened.

Initially only the center four squares display.  On each opposite side there's an additional flap that folds out revealing small pockets where small tags are tucked in.

Each square measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" inches and can be used to write a sentiment or to display small photos and/or journaling.

Behind each flap in the corners there's a hidden pocket where a tag is stored.

These tags measure 3" x 2 3/4".

Hello! I create a Thanksgiving Box with mini notebook inside. Thanksgiving has always been a time where I love to document what I am thankful for. This year is  no different.  Using the gorgeous Bountiful collection by Authentique, I've made a Thankful Box with mini Notebook. 

I'll use this little book on Thanksgiving to make little notes about the day, things I see and hear, and I'll have my little photo printer which I'll print little photos from my photo to place them in. 

I'll then hide my little book inside the box, and one day my family will find it.  I hope you'll use this holiday to document what your thankful for. 

I am so thankful for the Authentique Paper community, the company and all its has done for me.
