Happy Fall Colors with the Splendor Collection

Out of all of the seasons, I love Fall most. The crisp air, the changing colors, the animals busy preparing for Winter, the warm spicy drinks, candles, sweaters, boots... I could go on. It is just a magical season, as everything changes and prepares to settle in for Winter.

When I saw the Splendor collection, I knew that I wanted to break out a stamp set that I haven't used in quite awhile. I loved the little squirrels, and felt that they would go perfectly with the fun leaves of Splendor Two.

The base of the card is from the November Solids from the Calendar Collection. The brown matches perfectly the brown in the patterned paper of the Splendor collection.

For this card, I used primarily the 6x6" Bundle from the Splendor collection. The 6x6" papers are perfectly sized for cards, as the patterns are just shrunk down and are perfect for smaller projects.
The stamped image is colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Pens, with some sparkly gel pens added to create some interest.
I loved adding pieces of the Elements die cut sheet and the stamped images to create a fun focus area.
Adding a sweet matching bow finished this card off.
The overall effect was a sweet Autumnal effect.
I hope that this inspires you to also play with the Splendor collection. Make sure to share any fun projects that you create using the hashtag #authentiquepaper.

Supplies Used: Authentique's Splendor Collection (6x6" Bundle, Elements die cuts), Calendar Collection (Solids in November), Neat & Tangled stamps (Nuts About You), ribbon, Zig Clean Color Brush Pens, gel pens, dimensional adhesive
