Harvest Love

Hey, crafty friends! Design Team Member Mitsyana here with more Authentique inspiration for you. For my project today I created this JUNBO tag using papers from Authentique's Cultivate Collection.

The patterns and imagery are very farm house inspired. Which I enjoyed using to re-create one of the little scenes in 3D.

I used Cultivate papers- One, Two, Three, and Five. Starting with my favorite plaid paper from the set- Cultivate Three.

I cut down to 5-1/4"×8" and ran it through my Xyron Creative Station Lite machine.

Then attached the paper onto the front of my chipboard tag and trimmed off any overhanging excess with my non-stick scissor.

I cut a mat from white cardstock measuring 4.5" x 6" and used a punch to round the corners.

I trimmed my Cultivate Two and Three papers into pieces 1/4" smaller than my white cardstock to measure 4.25" x 5.75". I rounded the corners of both. Then trimmed Cultivate Two down to 2".

I attached the 2" piece onto the 4.25"x 5.75" piece using my tape runner.

Then I attached the pattern papers onto the white cardstock mat and then that layered piece onto the tag.

From the Cultivate Five sheet, I cut out the picture with an adorable little boy with a watering can and a panel that read... " Plant Smiles, Grow Laughter, Harvest Love".

To make my scene three-dimensional, I ended up cutting out 2 panels of the little boy. For one those panels I made sure to cut my borders clean and straight and for the other I cut him completely out.

I also cut out the seed packet and little flowers.

Then backed all of these pieces with foam adhesive and placed them over their matching images of the duplicate panel.

I cut apart "Plant Smiles" panel. I ended up breaking up the phrase into singular words to fit onto my tag better.

Then inked the edges of each word using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.

I added more foam adhesive under my word straps and adhered them onto my tag.

Once I had my words in place, I used a strong clear drying liquid glue to embellish the tag with gorgeous pre-made I Am Roses Flowers in coordinating colors.

Finally, I wrapped natural Hemp twine around the top of my tag and fastened with a red button.

And here id my finished card...

Look how adorable this guy is!!

I really love the sentiment of this tag! A message desperately need more of.

Plant smiles and harvest love...

Sprinkle seeds of kindness wherever you go... it'll grow into some beautiful and multiply!

I hope you enjoyed my project today. And that inspired you to create something beautiful. Or perhaps, even better, share a smile and be kind.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

See you next time!
