January Calendar Memory Card

Hello, and Happy New Year! This year, I want to do some more memory keeping. There are many things that can get in the way of this, school, work, family obligations, etc. Thinking about this, I decided to go a little smaller in size for this project, and create something that I could do here and there. I got a fun Rolodex-style holder and a few dies that would cut the card. Authentique's Calendar Collection is the perfect collection for this project, as the cards, sentiments, and papers are coordinated to work together.

Once the card was cut, just cut apart some of the pieces from the Sentiments sheet to get some wonderful sentiments.
A little banner is cut from the reverse of the Sentiments sheet, and stamped with the word January formed from alpha stamps.
After last year, I really wanted to focus on what's new and positive. This quote from Alfred Lord Tennyson was perfect for this fresh, new year.
To complete this, a handful of die cut snowflakes in glitter cardstock were placed under the sentiments with foam adhesive, and a few sequins were scattered about to create more interest.
To add in a few memories, simple cut a piece of white paper smaller than the card, write up your favorite memories and attach that to the back of the memory card. What will you create to remember your happiest memories this year?

Supplies Used:

Other Supplies: MemoryDex Spinner & Dies (Heidi Swapp), Stitched Snowflake & Mini Snowflakes (Lawn Fawn), sequins, foam adhesive

  1. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I might try the 12 month of the year as well.
