Fall Memories with Glowing and Glue Arts

This week on the Authentique Paper blog we will be sharing projects created using the Glowing Collection and Glue Arts adhesives.

Be sure to stop by the Glue Arts blog every day this week to see what their designers have created with the Glowing Collection.

Here is Brenda with today's Glowing project:

Every once in a blue moon, a halloween paper line comes along that I just cannot resist. I'm not usually a Halloween colors type of girl, but something about the richness of the colors and patterns of Glowing called out to me. Glowing is a must-have in my book.

I wanted to use this layout for fall pictures because I don't have too many Halloween themed pictures since my daughter, who was 6 months at Halloween last year, pretty much refused to wear her costume long enough for me to snap many pictures. But I was able to take a few pictures of her acting super silly with a pumpkin.

The Glue Glider Pro was perfect for adhering the papers together. I felt like I could properly control how much adhesive I used and where it went since I knew I wanted to stitch on this layout and didn't want to gummy up the machine's needle.

I really loved the Glue Arts U Cut It dimensional foam adhesive because, again, I could control how much I used. I popped up the Glowing Icons and Tabloids to add a little depth to the layout.

I thought I might struggle with attaching the burlap to the layout, but Glue Arts came to the rescue again with their ExtremeTac Adhesive Squares. I simply pressed the burlap up to the Adhesive Squares and then adhered to the layout. There's no way that baby's coming off.

Glue Arts and Authentique really are the perfect combinationa and I had so much fun playing around with both this week. Thanks so much for joining me today.
