The Details:
Leave a comment on each blog along the hop. The winners will be chosen randomly from all comments on the manufacturer blogs AND the designer blogs.
{Winners must have a US/Canada address.}
Blog comments close on Monday, November 14th at 11:59pm (Pacific) and the winners will be announced Wednesday, November 17th on the Authentique Paper blog and The Twinery's blog.
The Project:
The thick (& beautifully textured) papers we offer are heavy enough to stand up to the use of holiday decor. Since our papers are double sided, they are also perfect for a project that allows both sides of the paper to be seen.
In just a moment you'll be headed to our DT Coordinator's blog to take a peek at a set she created to adorn a Thanksgiving table - but first we wanted to share here how she made the box from her set using a sheet of our "Grow" paper from the Gathering collection.
To create this box, Tifany took a full 12"x12" sheet of paper and scored it 4" from each side of the paper (this creates 9 4"x4" square sections). On the four corner sections, she scored each from the very corner of the paper diagonally to the opposite corner of the section (where the previously created score lines meet). When the paper is folded up into the box shape, there will be two triangular flaps that should be folded toward each other (two flaps each on opposite sides of the box).
To keep the side flaps in place, adhere with a strong adhesive, then punch a hole and set an eyelet. Thread with The Twinery's Cappuccino twine and then add bow accents with Mandarin and Caribbean twine.
You can use a box like this to hold a few pinecones for a quick & easy Thanksgiving centerpiece or add some decorations to the outside and use it as a beautiful handmade container for a small gift. There are so many options - use your imagination!
Thanks for stopping by today!
