A "Glory-ous" Banner

Before I share my little project with you today, we have a winner to announce from May Arts week!

Great projects! Love how bright and springy these are, and the flowers are really beautiful. Love how you used the ribbon for the stems and popped out all those hearts!

Please send an e-mail with your mailing address to contests@authentiquepaper.com with "May Arts Week Prize Winner" in the subject line and we will get that prize pack & 3 spools of May Arts twine out to you!
With the end of April finally here, it's time to get those patriotic hats out and jump into May! Maybe I'm a little early for Memorial Day or Independence Day celebrations, but I couldn't resist creating a project for the star-spangled Holidays! I have been hanging on to "Glory" for a few weeks now trying to decide what to make. I hate to waste my pretty paper on a project that I don't like!
After lots of contemplation, I decided to go with one of my new favorite things to craft... a banner! I tried to make the banner more patriotic and not geared toward any specific holiday so it can be used on several different occasions. The banner itself is just a little canvas album that I took apart and misted then threaded it onto a string of ribbon. Weather you're feeling a little patriotic, or you just love the colors red, white, & blue, make sure you stop by your local scrapbook store and pick up "Glory"! You won't be disappointed, I promise!
