**********

I knew the first time that I saw the Core'dinations paper I wanted to create flowers. When I put the colors next to similar shades of Carefree my idea came through. I have been looking at this untreated photo box for a week now. My little girl found it while rummaging through my craft area, and it has stayed out of the drawer that it was hidden in ever since.
To create this project I measured and cut all of the straight edges to fit each of the sides and lid sections, then used spray glue to adhere each of the sides and pieces for the lid. One suggestion I do have, measure up to the lid, rather than try to shove the lid over the photo box and the paper. This way, I didn't have to worry about the thick papers causing any structural problems later on.

In addition to the lovely Carefree papers, I used the Core'dinations Slate color to offset the tangerine tones of the Details stickers. A little sanding here and there, and the distressing was perfect.
The flower was cut from a fantastic 3D Peony shape using my Silhouette. The center is from the same SVG cut, only using the Kraft-Core in #22. I sanded all of the pieces down before I strung them all on a piece of wire. Sanding each of the sections made the flower look more realistic.

Speaking of sanding, the neat Sand It Gadget that works with the Core'dinations paper was really fun to use. I used it throughout the entire project, even on the Authentique papers!
Overall, I really enjoyed creating this. I loved how the fantastic Authentique papers worked seamlessly with the Core'dinations paper. I also loved how the flower turned out. I might even be keeping this project for myself!
