Earth Friendly Friday

We are starting a new segment here on the Authentique blog. Friday's will now become a little more "Earth Friendly!" Our Design Team is very creative, they always find ways to recycle and make the most beautiful creations. We thought that by sharing our ideas, tips, & tricks here on the blog, maybe one by one we could all become a little more earth friendly with our crafting projects.

Today, Loes shares a beautiful project that anyone can make with a few little items that we all have laying around the house!

**********

I love the new Friday blog series over here, earth friendly! As scrappers, we have so much material to scrap with and we forget there's so much other stuff around us were we can make beautiful things.

Today, I challenged myself to make some ting with a toilet paper roll and some empty packaging.

Here is what I recycled for my project.

I made a cute little map with a little tag inside.

I crushed the toilet paper roll and wrapped it in with paper from the "Carefree" collection. To close one side, I used the detail stickers from the collection.

For the flower, I did that with the empty packaging!

I made a little tutorial for you so you can make this flower also!

First you have to punch some flowers two big and two small
from the paper and of the packaging

Second, put some glossy accents on the packaging flowers and stick them to the paper flowers.

Third, let it dry for a moment, after that put the heatgun on the flower. The plastic packaging after this is a little bit soft so you can bend the flower into shape. Do the same for the smaller flower.

Last, put the flowers together. I put a big brad in the inside to make a center.

I hope a give you a little bit of inspiration and hope to see a lot of "earth friendly" flowers after this!
