Can I just say that I LOVE Want2Scrap! Their products can easily be added to ANY project to jazz it up a bit! Not to mention, they are very affordable! We have had a great week with them so far, I hope you all are enjoying the inspirational projects!
Today, I wanted to alter something. I am so in love with the Fresh collection. I am very partial to the beach and anything beachy, so Fresh is right up my alley! I wanted to make something to hang in my home (which is decorated with lots of beach decor), so I got out this little wall clock out of my drawer full of alterables.
The clock came with a few pieces of MDF (which is a thick board kind of material), the top layer had the little holes cut in it so it would act as a dimensional window.
It also came with some chipboard numbers.
For the numbers, I decided to try a product that was new to me. Imagine Crafts has come out with a new Fireworks! Spritz that comes in coordinating colors of the popular Memento inks that we all know & love! The "Summer Sky" color matches perfectly with our Fresh Collection. Once I spritzed it on the chipboard numbers, the chipboard kind of soaked in most of the color, but left a nice shimmer, not too glittery, which I love! I also distressed the edges of my clock with sandpaper and then went around and distressed with some coordinating Memento ink. Love those little Dew Drops!
The Nestaboards from Want2Scrap are new to me, but I really love them! They come in nesting sizes with coordinating bling that you can add on top. I used one of the smaller Nestaboard labels to add something neat to the center of my clock.
Of coarse I couldn't have finalized this project without adding some pretty pearl flourishes from Want2Scrap! They were the perfect finishing touch!
