Loes de Groot
Hello and welcome to day three!
I decided to make a Happy Halloween board to hang by my door. I love this time of the year when the harvest is in and the day's are shorter....... and of course, Halloween!
I painted the wooden tray, it was a present with candles on it so the candles are gone. I re-purposed the tray and turned it into a Halloween decor piece!
I made a cord beneath the tray so the Halloween banner could hang below.
I'm in love with the little spiders!
It was so much fun to play with the flowers, butterflies, spiders and mummies from Petaloo, they mixed so well with the stickers & papers from Authentique!
Products Used:
Authentique:
Enchanted 12x12 papers, details, elements stickers
Petaloo: velvet butterflies orange, velvet hydrangeas orange, beaded peonies, small black, dazzlers mummies

I love my Petaloos - and when I received my box of goodies, the butterflies immediately caught my eye. The gorgeous deep orange - just the right shade to compliment our Enchanted paper. But what to make..
Then I remembered seeing vintage mounted insects in a museum book and voila!
Halloween Under Glass
I used paper from Enchanted, and two different dies from Tim Holtz's Sizzix Alterations to create the tiny branch. It's delicate enough for the daintiest butterfly.
Around the base is florist's moss and more Petaloos - this time their hydrangeas in black and orange. Some twists of different black ribbons and a scientific label finish off this spookily beautiful little piece.
Products Used:
Authentique- Enchanted Collection: 12x12 Details Sticker, "Spellbound" 12x12 paper
