Earth Friendly Friday- Recycled Thrift Store Find

I LOVE visiting the local thrift stores!
I feel like it's a treasure hunt, don't always find something amazing...
but when I do!  Happy days!
I always check out the frames and look for the unusual or unique.
my favorite are these types

They are some type of plastic with a cardboard/chipboard type picture.
PERFECT for updating and having fun with.

For my project today I took off the picture ( it is held in by tiny screws)
I then spray painted the frame an Ivory color
then I began decorating the chipboard oval.
Since it's Autumn, and the season to focus on reasons to be thankful
I thought a little reminder in my kitchen would be nice.
I first layered the background with Believe from the Festive Collection
added some of the awesome swoon worthy  orange herringbone pattern from Enchanted
and letter stickers from Carefree to spell out my sentiment
a little bit of mixing and matching of AP products :)
I love that they all work together so well!
Flowers are from Petaloo
Thanks so much for stopping by the Authentique Blog today,
and maybe I'll see you at the thrift store!
We've got to get busy on those holiday gifts don't we!!?!
